We recommend the following books when considering taking or registering for one of our retreat courses.

Ano'Ano, The Classic Trilogy
The first book of this trilogy, The Seed, has become a classic in Hawai'i and around the world. It tells of a group of seekers who are offered a "code of life": a way in which the suffering of mankind can be overcome. It’s two sequels, The Mana Keepers and The Fire Lily are included in this volume. These collective works remind men and women of their oneness with nature and that they are "the Keepers of the Sacred Earth." Conflicting fires within us all are revealed, shadow-selves and ancient patterns are examined and understood, finally leading to the dawn of inner peace.
About the Author:
Author, artist and producer Kristin Zambucka has won international acclaim for her inspirational works as well as her definitive biographies of Hawaiian Royalty and the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. She has also written and produced special presentations of her work for television and film festivals.

Tales of the Night Rainbow by Koko Williams and Pali Jae Lee (out of print)

This book truly covers everything about the real ancient Hawaiian culture and its culture after the Tahitian takeover. Very fascinating and probably the most true publication on this subject in its field. Most of the time, people are given the "whitebread" version of Hawaiian history that has been tailored to the common American way of thought (in fact we still meet people today who visit Hawaii and think that all the locals still live in grass shacks and are living a third-world lifestyle). If you really want to know the true history, this is it, direct from the mouth of Kaili'ohe Kame'ekua (b.1816-d.1931).
